Description |
Open Educational resources (OER) are "learning, teaching and research materials in any format and medium that reside in the public domain or are under copyright that have been released under an open license, that permit no-cost access, re-use, re-purpose, adaptation and redistribution by others”. (UNESCO) Recognizing the pivotal role that OER have, providing equally effective access for all learners to education, Mada has joined the growing worldwide OER movement and pledges as such to promoting OER accessibility harnessing the power of inclusive ICTs so that educational resources are accessible for all. It is within this scope that Mada center provides a dedicated workshop on open educational resources to empower educators toward harnessing the potential of OER to enhance teaching and learning practices and promoting accessibility and inclusivity in education. |
