Description This introductory workshop is designed to familiarize participants with the emerging field of AI-enhanced assistive technology (AT) and its role in supporting students with disabilities. The session highlights how artificial intelligence can empower learners with visual, hearing, motor, cognitive, and communication impairments by providing innovative, adaptive learning tools tailored to their needs. Through practical demonstrations and expert-led discussions, participants will explore various AI-powered solutions, such as intelligent tutoring systems, voice-to-text applications, predictive typing tools, and personalized learning platforms, that promote inclusive education. The workshop also addresses ethical considerations, data privacy, and the future of AI in education. |
